In fresh air ducts the temperature and pressure is often moderate and that gives more freedom in material choice. When using the Twist II connectors you can easily integrate the connection in blow moulded or injection moulded plastic pipes. ABA has validated many different ways in order to get the best connection for a sertain application. You can either integrate or weld the connector to the tube depending on the complexity and design of the system. You can also crimp the connector to a rubber hose. Charge air ducts

In charge air systems the temperature and pressure are very demanding. Car makers are constantly developing engines with more performance, lower fuel consumtion and less space. This makes the life for plastic materials in charge air systems very tough. ABA has developed a Twist II solution in engineering polymers that withstand the specifications on the market. A lot of devlopment is being made to find the best and smallest solution to connect the tubes and hoses in a charge air system.
