The product
The Twist II is designed for P2P (pipe to pipe) solutions and was brought to the market to suit for example air intake and cooling system hoses in plastic where leak proof connections are hard to obtain. The functional design with its strong features gives in many cases possibilities to use mono layer pipes instead of more expensive sequential co-extruded pipes. This leads to lower system cost. In high temperature areas the Twist II connection is used in combination with aluminium, steel pipes or high temperature Polyamides.
Twist II is manufactured in recyclable materials with low permeation values. Polyamide 66 with a glass fibre content of 30% is normally used in the standard products. When the Twist II connector has a direct contact with coolant fluids we recommend the use of glass fibre reinforced polyamides with heat- and hydrolyse stabilisers.
For special applications, i.e charge air systems with high temperatures, other thermoplastics materials with other or more reinforcements are recommended. On request we are able to supply you our engineering knowledge and advice you to the optimum material choice.
O-rings are made of standard materials EPDM, NBR, FPM and FVMQ.

Fuel connectors
A new Twist II connector system for connecting fuel lines and fuel hoses. Low permeation values together with a slim design and function ensures you of a safe joint. The Twist II design only demands a simple forming operation to the corresponding tubes. High flow properties combined with small outer diameter gives one of the smallest fuel connectors on the market. It can be integrated in, or combined with extruded plastic and steel tubes. Everything from fuel lines to filler necks.
